Something has changed within me

My writing has changed. The words I share and don’t have changed too.

What once used to flow out of me, I now feel the need to protect and keep inside, holy.

I don’t know for how long, or on what days I’ll feel the need to safeguard what feels sacred and important, but for now, I feel safer sharing the outside layers of my heart. 

I will forever hold dear the love and care that has been mirrored here and know that the depth of our bond still connects us through the Frocks I wear, the way I dress my soul differently now.

This is by no means the end. It’s the beginning of finding what lies deeper within. Thanks for being here.
